About Todd S. Anhalt, MD
Todd S. Anhalt, MD is a board certified dermatologist in practice for the past 20 years and joined California Skin Institute in January 2009. He received his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Cornell and became board certified in internal medicine. He then completed residency training in dermatology at Stanford University. The combined training in internal medicine and dermatology provides the foundation for his expertise in skin disease and broad understanding of how the skin reacts to internal disease. Todd S. Anhalt, MD is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Stanford Dermatology and Chief of Dermatologic Surgery at the Stanford VA Medical Center in Palo Alto. He devotes approximately 20% of his time to teaching residents and medical students at Stanford Medical Center. He also lectures nationally and internationally on the diagnosis and treatment of various skin diseases. Dr. Anhalt’s special interests include skin signs of internal disease as well as medical, surgical, cosmetic and laser surgery of the skin. He is the author of multiple publications including medical journal articles and textbooks. He lives in Los Altos with his wife, also a physician-researcher, and their three children. His peers have voted Dr. Anhalt into Best Docs in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and nationally for the past 6 years. His practice is dedicated to personalized care of the highest quality – a perfect fit for the California Skin Institute. Dr. Anhalt will lead the Los Altos office of California Skin Institute and will be available to consult with patients with difficult to diagnose and treat skin conditions.
