About Tiki T. Lam, DDS
Dr Tiki Lam was raised in San Diego. She earned her Bachelor degree from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with honors. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan. Prior to opening her own practice, Dr. Lam spent five years of her postdoctoral training with the best in the field. After dental school, Dr. Lam worked alongside her professor, Dr. Larry Seluk in providing advanced restorative and implant dentistry in a premier dental practice in Michigan. Dr. Lam has been the President of the Plymouth Research Institute, an advance dental study club that focuses on continuing education for dentists. She is a Faculty Club Member at Spear Institute. As a dental consultant for the Dental Advisors, Dr. Lam is very knowledgeable in many of the latest dental materials and products used in dentistry. The company focuses on evaluation of all dental products available on the market. All products used in her office have been thoroughly researched to ensure patients are receiving the best materials that are safe and effective. Practicing dentistry with a gentle touch, Dr. Lam takes great pride in creating personalized dental care for patients of all ages. In August 2018, Dr. Lam decided to return home to San Diego. Committed to giving back to her community, Dr. Lam volunteers monthly at the Veterans Village of San Diego to provide dental care to our veterans. She is also an adjunct faculty at UCSD School of Medicine where she is a mentor to the UCSD Pre-Dental Society and UCSD Student-Run Free Dental Clinics. Dr. Lam lives in La Jolla with her husband, Thomas Lam and their maltipoo, Mochi. Dr. Lam enjoys painting, poetry, yoga and surfing.
