About Shiying Zou, DDS

Dr. Zou obtained her D.D.S from UCSF School of Dentistry. She had worked as an associate dentist at several private dental offices in bay area before she opened “For Your Smile Dental”. Originally from Beijing, China, Dr. Zou received her first Dental degree from Dental School of West China University of Medical Science, one of the top dental schools in China. She had practiced as a general dentist for more than 10 years in the Department of Dentistry at Peking Union Medical College hospital, the most prestigious and world-renowned medical center in China. In 1999, she obtained a scholarship and came to School of Dental and Oral Surgery at Columbia University in New York as a visiting scholar, where she spend 2 years for advanced study and training as well as conducted research work. With Dr. Zou’s solid education background and clinical experience, she has provided her patients a high quality of dental care. Dr. Zou is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Santa Clara County Dental Association. In order to continue providing her patients with the most advanced technology and techniques available, Dr. Zou has been taking continuing education courses to maintain a high professional level. Dr. Zou enjoys practicing Pilates, Yoga and is a Zumba dance lover. She is also an active member of bay area hiking group.
