About Sheryl A. Jenicke, DDS
Sheryl Jenicke loves being a dentist. She’s passionate about teeth and the artistry of dentistry. Dr. Jenicke feels you can change people’s lives if you give them a beautiful smile. In her office, she is known for being “painless” and she strives to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. Perhaps they couldn’t smile before because they were embarrassed or in pain. She enjoys bringing affordable, beautiful smiles to Cadillac and believes it is important to stay involved and give back to her community. Dr. Jenicke earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, graduating in 2000. She continued on to the University of Maryland earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2006. Dr. Jenicke completed an intensive hospital based General Practice Residency at Ohio State University in 2007. She returned to Michigan and worked in several offices before taking over the practice of retiring dentist Dr Toepler in 2011. Dr. Jenicke regularly furthers her education by taking courses in advanced dentistry. She is a member of multiple dentistry organizations and feels it is important to stay informed on the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. Her extensive experience and perfectionist nature provides patients with the confidence that they have chosen the right dentist. Dr. Jenicke recieved her fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016. In order to earn this honor, Dr. Jenicke completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled ten years of continuous membership with the AGD. The award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Jenicke has joined an elite group of more than 10,000 renowned professionals who have received Fellowship honors to date. Outside of dentistry Sheryl enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, enjoying the outdoor beauty of Northern Michigan and spending time with her husband Donald and their miniature poodles, Julie and Lydia.
