About Shalom Fialkoff, DMD
Dr. Fialkoff believes strongly that healthcare is changing towards a collaborative, decision-making model. His goal is to diagnose your dental conditions and provide options to help. He devotes as much time as necessary to discuss all the different options, the pros and cons of each, and encourage patients to research those options before finalizing their plans. Restorative plans can involve moving teeth into the ideal position, before repairing and replacing missing teeth with crowns, bridges and/or implants. Together we can make a decision that fits into your expectations, schedule, and lifestyle. Dr Fialkoff has extensive training and extreme competence in many areas of dentistry ranging from simple to complex cases, so you can be assured of high quality dental work. He only uses the highest quality materials and laboratories for his Crowns and Bridges and other prosthetic restorations. He uses advanced 3-D imaging and sophisticated software modeling to virtually plan, place, and restore Dental Implants. Dr Fialkoff graduated simultaneously from Rutgers and Columbia University with his DMD and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management. He has furthered his education by completing internships at UCLA Dental School and Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. He has won numerous awards including a Rutgers University Leadership award and named a Macy’s Scholar at Columbia University. He constantly expands his dental expertise by taking Continuing Education courses wherever and whenever he can in many topics including: Implant Dentistry, Sleep Apnea, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and others. Currently Dr Fialkoff works with the Arizona Dental Association and serves on the Council of Government Affairs to further dental health policy and legislative initiatives. He serves as a board member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and The American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Prior to moving to Arizona, Dr Fialkoff lived in NJ where he worked at a Private Equity investment group, served on the New Jersey Dental Association’s Board of Governmental Affairs, and worked as a consultant completing numerous projects for The Boston Consulting Group, Colgate-Palmolive, and Rutgers University. Currently Dr Fialkoff sits on the scientific advisory board of a medical device startup, serves as an adviser to a biotech company, and is an angel investor. Dr Fialkoff is thrilled to be living in Arizona where he enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with his wife – a budding veterinarian, and their dog, Tux.
