About Seth Griffin, DDS
Dr. Seth grew up in Coloma, Michigan and graduated from Coloma High School in 2003. After graduation, he went on to Taylor University where in 2007 he graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Biology. Dr. Seth then continued his education at Trinity International University where he graduated cum laude with a master’s degree in Bioethics. Dr. Seth attended Detroit Mercy Dental School, where he was an active student leader in the Christian Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. After graduating from dental school near the top of his class in 2012 with multiple honors, including being inducted into the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Dr. Seth broadened his skills by completing General Dental Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. While there he enjoyed the challenge of caring for medically-compromised patients while providing comprehensive dentistry in a hospital-based setting. Dr. Seth stays current on trends and technology within dentistry by attending many continuing education courses throughout the year. He currently is working through the Dawson Academy continuum. He has in interest in providing high level care to his patients in all areas of dentistry but has added interest in the areas of occlusion, implants, root canals and restorative dentistry. When not working, Dr. Seth enjoys fishing, hunting, kayaking, and working on his family blueberry farm. He has been an active member of his church and community. Currently, Dr. Seth serves on dental committees at the local, state and national level through the American and Michigan Dental Associations. He also serves on the Hartford Community Schools Foundation and the Spectrum Lakeland Watervliet Hospital Board.
