About Samuel J. Borgmeyer, DDS
Dr. Samuel J. Borgmeyer was born and raised in South St. Louis City. Dr. Sam attended DePaul University in Chicago, majoring in biology while being involved in an a capella group and graduating in 2006. After college, he attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and graduated in 2011. After finishing his education, he moved back to Chicago and worked as a dentist at Lawndale Christian Health Center, eventually being promoted to be the director of his clinic. Through this experience, he was also able to work to increase the quality of oral health care to those who needed it most and to advocate for access to care across the city. At Lawndale Christian health center, he had the privilege of being adjunct faculty at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry, educating countless young dentists in their best practices. While in Chicago, he also worked at a general and cosmetic dental office called Compass Dental, fine-tuning his cosmetic and general dentistry. While his time in Chicago was amazing, he is very happy to be back home and loves working with his dad, brother, and family. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater Saint Louis Dental Society, among many other clubs and study groups. He currently lives in Tower Grove South with his wife, Kristen, who is a play therapist. They have a daughter, Ellouise, who is the joy of Dr. Sam’s life and somehow can name at least five breweries in St. Louis and five Cardinals players. Dr. Sam and his wife love exploring the city and and spending time as a family. They are really happy with their move home. During Dr. Sam’s dental journey, he has really loved the process of treating problems and patients individually by creating personalized care and treatment plans. This allows him to apply the newest technology in an old school manner to provide the best possible care to each and every patient.
