About Salam Awad, DDS
Dr. Awad holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Michigan and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy school of Dentistry. She also was awarded “Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award” three years in a row, American Academy of Orofacial Pain Award, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement award, Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Award, and the Russell W. Bunting Periodontal Society Award. Dr. Awad is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and has taken many educational courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontics. Dr. Awad is an active member of the dental community, and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Implant Association, and National Honor Society for Dentistry. She is currently residing in Dearborn with her Husband, Ramadan and two children. In her free time she enjoys jogging, reading, spending time with family.
