About Ryaz Ansari, DDS
Dr. Ansari, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, welcomes all of you to experience our exceptional quality and service! His passion for the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Dentistry allows him to deliver better care with greater compassion. Dr. Ansari’s goal is to provide you with the most recent research and technology so you have the option to choose the best treatment available today! Because he wanted to achieve the highest level of knowledge and skill as a Surgeon , Dr. Ansari obtained a fellowship and became board certified. Having moved to Toronto, Canada, he began his education at the University of Toronto with a degree in Molecular Genetics. He then completed four years of dental training at the University of Western Ontario in Canada followed by a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Toronto. Due to his immense passion for surgery, Dr. Ansari joined the Residency Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center affiliate of Cornell University and then completed a fellowship in Cosmetic/Maxillofacial Surgery at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial conditions, including orofacial pathology, dentofacial deformities, infections, dentoalveolar defects, and maxillofacial trauma. He is well versed in Orthognathic procedures, implant therapy and bone grafting, as well as dentoalveolar surgery. Outside of his professional interests Dr. Ansari has a tremendous passion for technology and its influence on our lives. He has a special interest in Apple technology, literature and world travel. Dr. Ansari currently resides with his wife, son and daughter in West Hartford.
