About Ryan D. Michelson, DDS
Dr. Ryan Michelson is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Heritage High School and did his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. After attending MSU, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy, where he graduated in 2009. Since then, he has been practicing dentistry in his hometown of Saginaw, Michigan. Dr. Michelson and his wife, Jennifer, share three children, Morgan Marie, Connor David, and Gracelyn Sue. Ryan and Jenny enjoy spending time with family, friends, and are actively involved in their church, Hopevale. They also enjoy providing medical (Jennifer is a Registered Nurse) and dental work for underprivileged people, going on mission trips to Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, and Dominican Republic. They plan on doing many more trips in the future. Dr. Michelson also enjoys boating, golf, and hockey. Dr. Michelson aims to provide a balance between health, function, and aesthetics of the oral cavity using the latest in-office dental technology. He is a graduate of the Dawson Academy for general dentistry, which is renowned for its courses in continuing dental education; dedicated to teaching a comprehensive approach to dentistry with concentrations in occlusion, temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and aesthetic restorative dentistry.
