About Ron R. Handley, DDS
Dr. Handley is originally from Nelsonville, Ohio. The son of an air force pilot, Dr. Handley frequently moved to various states throughout the country as a child including Florida, California, and Nebraska. He finally planted roots in Azle, Texas during his high school years. Dr. Handley went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in zoology. Upon graduation, Dr. Handley worked in the research field studying substance abuse and pharmaceuticals at North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. After three years in this field, Dr. Handley returned to school to study dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Upon graduation in 1999, Dr. Handley worked as an associate dentist at Tippit-Schleicher Dental Group. During his four years as an associate, he developed his style of practice and a thorough understanding of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Handley is a member of many dental organizations including the ADA, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, The Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, and The Academy of General Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Handley loves spending time with his wife and three sons. He is an avid sports fan, with a special affinity for his Aggies and the Houston Texans. He has sang in a band for over 20 years, and also enjoys traveling, fishing and golf.
