About Roberto Bellegarrigue, DMD
Dr. Bellegarrigue—also known as Dr. Belle—established North Tampa Dentistry so he could provide quality dentistry with honesty and compassion. Dr. Roberto Bellegarrigue is a graduate of Tulane University with a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology. While at Tulane, his research on bone marrow cancer was published in several medical journals worldwide. In the spring of 2000, he obtained his Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Go Gators! After graduation, he completed a Dental Residency Program with the Hillsborough County Dental Research Clinic; here he created a special denture trauma splint for patients of the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. Tampa dentist, Dr. Belle, received his implant training from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, The Institute for Guided Implant Surgery, and The Pikos Institute. His orthodontic training is through the Six Month Smiles Provider Research Program and ClearCorrect, which has continuous advanced level training. He continues his dental education every year through various private teaching institutions and organizations. Dr. Belle is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of Osseointegration as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Often times, people ask about his unique name, Bellegarrigue. It is of Basque origin (Spanish). His mother and father were born and raised in the small Latin American country of El Salvador but moved to the United States prior to his birth. The son of a neurosurgeon and an engineer, he was taught the value of a good education and hard work.
