About Richard Potter, DDS
Dr. Richard Potter earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Though he practices all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Potter’s focus is occlusal therapy. His professional passion is being able to treat his patients with the best dentistry possible. It can be as simple as relieving the patient’s pain or as complex as rebuilding their entire occlusion while improving their smiles to health and beauty. The patient’s healthy smile at the end of treatment is his ultimate gratification. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Potter and his wife enjoy serving their community in any way they can, be it free dental clinics, church retreats, or feeding the homeless. He is also an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends. Dr. Potter’s patients especially like his great sense of humor and his ability to have fun while at work. He believes that a healthy sense of humor can make everybody’s day a whole lot better.
