About Richard Austin, DDS
Dr. Austin graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and has been practicing cosmetic dentistry in the Salt Lake City area for over 26 years. He is one of only a handful of Utah dentists to have completed the Advanced Dental Studies Master Aesthetic Dentist postgraduate program at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI). Out of the 150,000+ practicing dentists across the country, fewer than one quarter of one percent have attained this level of achievement. Dr. Austin specializes in full-mouth cosmetic reconstructions and state-of-the-art implant procedures. With his experience and expertise, even full mouth restorations can be done in just two visits. In his practice, Dr. Austin has placed over 30,000 veneers/restorations. He has made it his goal to ensure that he has the skills, training, and technologies to provide every one of his patients with the best quality cosmetic procedures available today. Dr. Austin is married with 3 children. He enjoys playing the piano, golf and water sports. He was born and reared in Ogden, Utah and is a 20 year resident of Layton.
