About Quan A. Liu, DMD
Dr. Liu is a dentist in Chula Vista providing comprehensive dentistry services for patients in the surrounding areas. As a dentist licensed in CA, Dr. Liu provides preventative examinations, advanced diagnostics, and treatments regarding oral and dental health. Dr. Alexander Liu, DDS, PhD, DMD, got his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution ranked among the top 5 universities in the nation. Prior to studying dentistry, he got his Doctorate of Philosophy from Case Western Reserve University majored in modern neuroscience research and followed by working as a scientist at UC San Diego. Dr. Liu was an oral surgeon in China before he came to the U.S. He has almost 10 years clinical experience and has kept his continuing education up to date to ensure that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. For example, Dr. Liu is certified with advanced level of CAD/CAM 1 hour crown technology, rotary endodontics, bone graft with extraction, painless injection, etc. Recently, he has been awarded as one of America's Top Dentists. His personal favorite quote is ""modern dentistry should be as painless and comfortable as possible to the patient as the patients' happiness is paramount to our success"". Dr. Liu and his family enjoy living in San Diego. He has two adorable, young sons to keep him busy while he is away from the office and his wife is a MD/PhD, working as a medical school faculty member in UC San Diego. Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, playing sports, making friends, and participating in church activities.
