About Peter Do, DDS
In 1993, at the age of 15, Dr. Peter Do came to the US and resided in Oceanside, CA, without speaking English. He attended to El Camino High School and graduated with honor and ranked number 5th of 366 students. He then went to University of San Diego majoring in Biochemistry. While he was in college, Dr. Do worked as a dental assistant. From being exposed to all the dental procedures and watching how dentistry can change a person's smile and confidence, Dr. Do had found his calling, DENTISTRY! Dr. Peter Do graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry, in 2008 at the top 10 percent of his clinical class. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Do is a continuing education credit junkie. During the past four years, he has spent over 300 hours taking continuing education classes although the State of California required only 100 hours. Besides practicing dentistry, Dr. Do also is involved in organizations that serve the community. He is one of the board directors of Neighborhood Health Care, a non profit health organization that serves both San Diego and Riverside counties. He is also a member of the East Escondido Rotary Club, and a member of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, Dr. Do partnered with Neighborhood Health Care and launched a new program called Healthy Smile. Dr. Do and other dentists dedicate one full Sunday every quarter providing free dental cares to adults who are not able to afford dental cares otherwise. Most of these adults are from Escondido, San Marcos, Valley Center, and North San Diego County Inland.
