About Paul G. Sternhagen, DDS
Paul Guy Sternhagen, DDS, FAGD, FDOCS completed his undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University in 1981. He received his training and Doctorate in Dentistry from Loyola, University Chicago in 1985. Dr. Sternhagen has served on the advisory boards of both Delta College and Ross Medical Center for their dental assisting programs. Dr. Sternhagen received the prestigious Fellowship Awards from both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation. He strives to provide the highest level of dental care by continuing to pursue current education for dentistry. The Fellowship Awards symbolize excellence in the dental profession, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Dr Sternhagen has advanced training in the area of TMJ disorders, cosmetic, restortative, implant, family, and sedation dentistry. In addition to hundreds or hours of additional post graduate study, Dr. Sternhagen has trained at the highly regarded Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Study, The Pankey Institute, Dental Organization Of Conscious Sedation, The Ruddle Center for Advanced Endodontics, and The Turbyfill Advanced Denture Technique Courses. Dr Sternhagen completed a ""mini"" residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Unniversity of Minnesota. He earned his certification in Intravenous Sedation at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr Sternhagen is committed to patient safety and holds an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Dr. Sternhagen grew up on Torch Lake and is a 1985 graduate of Loyola Dental School. Dr. Sternhagen and his wife, Kim, have a son, Jacob, and a golden retriever, Sport. They enjoy and support the community. Dr Sternhagen has enjoyed years of coaching youth basketball and baseball teams. They love our great state of Michigan and participate in many of the outdoor activities that each of its four seasons offer.
