About Patricia Aguirre, DMD
Dr. Patricia Aguirre graduated from Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia, where she received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, Dr. Aguirre worked for a year as a general dentist in rural Colombia as part of a federally mandated dental health program. Following this enriching experience she returned to Javeriana University to obtain a postdoctoral certificate in Endodontics and teach as a Diagnostic Clinical Instructor. Dr. Aguirre then opened a private practice devoted to endodontics in her hometown of Cali, Colombia. After three years in private practice, Dr. Aguirre made the decision to come to the United States to further her professional training. She completed the Advanced Standing Program at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, culminating in a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Aguirre has been working with the group practice for 11 years. She is Invisalign certified. She is also bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Dr. Aguirre enjoys spending time gardening and attending sporting events with her family.
