About Padmalekha Ramani, DMD
I love all of dentistry and am passionate about helping people. One of my main goals as a dentist is to help people understand the value of oral health. I am happy that I can make a difference in someone’s life, whether it is as dramatic as a smile makeover or as simple as being a good listener, it all matters. My profession has helped me meet people from various walks of life and appreciate life and be grateful for everything. I am always amazed when I meet people with a positive attitude and realize how you can grow and learn from people every day. There is no dull or bad moment in life if you see everything as the glass being half full and not half empty. That is the way I see life and want to share that hope and message with everyone I meet. I started my dental career in India, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Manipal University in 1997. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. The training I received during my general practice residency at the University of Michigan gave me an edge over other general dentists, many of whom are not comfortable performing emergency trauma procedures.
