About Nilar L. Vargas, DDS
Dr. Vargas graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Myanmar in 1988. Upon graduation, she successfully competed 2 years of general practice residency at the Yangon Institute of Dental Medicine and Yangon General Hospital in Myanmar. From 1994-1997, Dr. Vargas attended the School of Dentistry at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree. Since then, Dr. Vargas has practiced in both Katy, Texas and northern California. Following graduation, she worked as an associate dentist at Southern Dental Associates in Houston. Then in 2000, she moved to northern California and worked as an associate dentist at Dr. Robert McKethen D.D.S. In 2006, Dr. Vargas returned to Katy, Texas and returned to Southern Dental Associates as practiced as an associate dentist 6 more years.
