About Nancy A. Van Alstine, DDS
My father, Wallace Van Alstine, founded Van Alstine Family Dentistry in 1968, the year before I was born. In hindsight, it could not have been better timing. Growing up during that time afforded me the rare opportunity to witness the growth of what would one day become my future practice. More importantly, it allowed me to watch my father at work. Inspired by his strong sense of purpose and the deep commitment toward his patients, I obtained my dental degree and we began working together in 2002. Practicing together for over a decade taught me lessons one simply can’t learn in school. The most valuable of these was the importance of providing service to my patients beyond simply taking care of their teeth. Toward that end, I want to continue to build upon the lifelong relationships my father began years ago by providing the best patient-centered care I can. While I will always work to obtain the ongoing education and technology needed to provide state-of-the-art dentistry for my patients, it will always be with this goal in mind—that every patient feel like a member of our dental family.
