About Mordecai S. Lightman, DDS
Mordecai Lightman was born in Lowell, MA and graduated from New York University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Lightman was offered, and accepted, a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. After the conclusion of his residency, Dr. Lightman moved west to Los Angeles and practiced in Marina Del Rey before deciding to move south to San Diego in 1980. He has practiced in various areas of San Diego County since and is now practicing in the San Carlos/La Mesa area. Dr. Lightman has always thoroughly enjoyed practicing dentistry and is truly an artist when it comes to aesthetics. He has earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. With his calm, gentle manner and warm smile, even those anxious or fearful of dental work can feel at ease. Dr. Lightman treats all clients with patience, caring, and understanding.
