About Mohammed W. Iqbal, DDS
We have been in Ridgewood, New Jersey since November, 2006. Having taken over an existing practice that had been there for over 25 years, we still continue to provide the same excellence and royal service that people have come to know and expect from us. Dr. Iqbal and his team are here to listen, advise, recommend, and support each and everyone of our patients. Dr Iqbal grew up in Jersey City. Having attended St Peter's Prepatory High School, he went onto study Business Management with a minor in History at Rutgers University. Taking some time off after college and traveling to Asia to rediscover his roots, Dr Iqbal returned with a new found enthusiasm about dental health and its impact upon people on a daily basis. What he saw there was a major need of basic dental treatment in many countries around the world and even here in the United States as well. Dr Iqbal graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2001 receiving a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Knowing this was not enough for him, he did a one year residency in Advanced Eductaion in General Dentistry by 2002. While living in Manhattan, he worked in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. Having gained invalueable experience, he went to to become an Associate at Personnel Dental located in the chic Grammercy Park section of Manhattan, New York. Having worked on a high-end clientele, Dr Iqbal decided to utilize his skills and moved to Ridgewood, New Jersey. Dr Iqbal continually strives to maintain the highest levels of clinical skills and using the best labs and dental materials available on the market. He has completed four levels in the prestigious CCADS (California Center for Advanced Dental Studies, ccads.org) Program in California. CCADS teaches Advanced Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry, among other topics. Dr Iqbal has implemented several concepts from his training into his practice and continues to strive to be the best at what he loves to do.
