About Mohammad U. Bawany, DMD
Dr. Mohammad Bawany grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida and then earned a Masters of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He continued his education in South Jordan, Utah at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree. During his time as a dental student, Dr. Bawany served as the President of the American Student Dental Association and Class President of the Utah Dental Association, as well as a student delegate. Dr. Bawany was recognized as an outstanding dental student in implant dentistry from the American Academy of Osseointegration and was honored with the Distinguished Leadership Award, the Advocacy for the Dental Profession Award, and the Award of Excellence from the American Student Dental Association. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentists, and the American Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Bawany believes that everyone deserves to have a great smile and has a passion for implant and cosmetic dentistry. He strongly believes in patient education and strives for all his patients to understand the treatments they receive and how to help prevent dental issues in the future. “The more you know about what goes on in your mouth the more likely you are to understand how to prevent it,” says Dr. Bawany. “My goal is to have all patients understand how to keep their teeth beautiful and healthy for as long as possible.” When he is not working, Dr. Bawany enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching movies, playing basketball, running on the beach, and spending time in the gym.
