About Michael Kostrov, DMD
Dr. Michael Kostrov is a native of Boston, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Before dental school, Dr. Kostrov attended Tufts University where he completed his BS in Biology. While in college and dental school, he participated and coordinated numerous research studies including managing dental patients who were going through bone marrow transplants and dealing with patients with autoimmune disorders like Sjogren’s Syndrome. The focus of Dr.Kostrov’s practice is comprehensive dentistry. He has completed extensive post-graduate training in the management of TMD patients as well as advanced cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. His practice also focuses on the use of dental implants to restore form and function. He has completed his training in the prestigious Pankey Institute as well as other postgraduate dental institutions like the Seattle Institute and the Dawson Center. He has also completed his sedation dentistry training at the University of Maryland Dental School. Dr. Kostrov is an Invisalign provider. Dr. Kostrov values his patients as if they were family. He cares about their overall health as well as making personal relationships with each and every person. He even hosts free health screenings such as for Oral Cancer using the newest Velscope technology, and for Sleep Apnea using the most advanced technology available including the ICAT cone beam scanner and has the ability to give patient’s home sleep studies using the Embletta X100. Dr. Kostrov holds memberships in numerous professional oragaizations.
