About Michael J. Klebuc, MD
Doctor Klebuc is the director of the Center for Facial Paralysis Surgery and Functional Restoration at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Klebuc is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and he performs plastic and reconstructive surgery. He specializes in microsurgery and facial paralysis reconstruction. Dr. Klebuc attended medical school in Canada and received his plastic surgery training at The Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He also completed a pediatric plastic surgery fellowship under Dr. Ronald Zuker at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada focusing on functional muscle flap surgery for smile restoration. He has an academic appointment at Cornell University, Weill College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Klebuc has written over twenty peer reviewed articles and nine book chapters. He has made over forty national and international presentations regarding reconstructive surgery and has won numerous academic and research awards. Dr. Klebuc has been repeatedly ranked as one of the Best Doctors in America and one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Klebuc has earned the national Super Doctors award for over Ten consecutive years, from 2006 to 2018 earning him the right to be honored in the Super Doctors Texas Hall of Fame.
