About Michael V. Diorio, DMD
Dr. Mike was born and raised in Marlton, New Jersey. As one of five children he enjoyed staying active in his community. He attended High School at Saint Joseph's Preparatory in Philadelphia. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Biological Sciences. A combination of a keen interest in the health sciences, compassionate desire to help others, and natural artistic skills to create form and function made a career in the practice of dentistry an easy choice. He then went on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he excelled both academically and clinically, and received special recognition on behalf of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for Excellence in Implant Dentistry. During dental school he also completed a brief externship in Dublin, Ireland on behalf of the International College of Dentists. Following graduation Dr. Mike went on to become a part-time clinical faculty member at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine within the department of restorative dentistry, Dr. Mike is an active individual with diverse interests including playing hockey, fishing, camping, writing, and staying involved in the community. Professionally, he is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. His aim is nothing short of excellence. Each patient is treated with his gentle and compassionate skills and abilities. Ultimately, his goal is to make you feel involved and comfortable with your dental needs and choices.
