About Matthew J. Zielinski, DDS
Dr. Matthew Zielinski’s care philosophy is to treat every patient with dedication, enthusiasm, and a gentle heart. He is an Illinois native, growing up in the Northwestern Suburbs of Chicago. Before beginning his dental career, Dr. Zielinski traveled the country participating in Junior Hockey. He continued competing at the college level as he was on the Club Hockey Team at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree, with honors. Dr. Zielinski is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry Class of 2016. While attending Dental School, Dr. Zielinski was involved in numerous organizations, which included being Class Representative, ASDA, founder of the Periodontal-Implant Study Club, and a member of Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity. In addition, Dr. Zielinski traveled to Haiti on a humanitarian mission to provide dental healthcare. After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, he completed a completed a graduate residency program at Loyola University Medical Center. During this program he gained advanced training in oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Furthermore, he believes in life-long learning and has already become an active participant in continuing education. For example, he is a Spear Education Faculty Club Member, participates in three local Spear Study Clubs, and attends Several Spear Workshops/Seminars each year. Outside of the office, Dr. Zielinski enjoys traveling with his new wife, boating, golfing, and playing hockey. He enjoys spending time with family and friends while furthering his mission to increase oral health awareness.
