About Matthew J. Talcott, DDS
After attending the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies with an emphasis in Biology from 1988-92, I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1996. In the twenty-plus years since, I have honed my skills in all aspects of general dentistry with advanced training in endodontics (root canals), orthodontics, and esthetic dentistry. I am a current member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, and the Northville Chamber of Commerce. Since 2009 I have been selected by the Consumer’s Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists,” and been recognized by my peers as a “Top Dentist” in Detroit Hour magazine for many years. My wife, Michelle, and I have been married since 2001 and have been blessed with two lovely daughters, Lauren and Alexis. You will see their pictures throughout the office. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio (but not a Buckeye) and we live here in Northville. We are active members of St. James Catholic Church (full time 4th grade basketball coach/part-time dentist) and we love all parts of living in Michigan (except snow in April). In January of 2017 we expanded our practice to include the entire building. Our dental contractors customized each operatory to create a warm, spacious feel for patients. We installed state of the art equipment to match our peerless facility without forgetting the importance of a personal touch. Through the latest advances in digital dentistry, we can prepare, fabricate, and deliver your crowns all in the same day to minimize discomfort and maximize convenience. I would like to personally welcome my long-standing patients from the Highland/Milford area. I sincerely appreciate your loyalty and I will strive to make your visit worth the drive. New patients are always welcome. We are open 51 weeks of the year Monday through Friday with evening appointments and select Saturdays. We are a preferred provider for most insurance dental plans including MetLife, Delta, BC/BS, and Cigna. We offer nitrous oxide sedation and we excel in all types of dentistry including metal free crowns, implant restorations, root canals, bridges, veneers, white fillings, extractions, dentures, bonding, and comprehensive periodontal (gum) care.
