About Matthew J. Campbell, DDS
Dr. Campbell received his DDS from Loyola University, Chicago. Following a dental residency in the VA and two years as a dental officer at Beale AFB, he opened his practice in Sacramento. Throughout his career Dr. Campbell has held various leadership positions with many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society. He has also received professional honors from the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the Sacramento District Dental Society’s distinguished member award. Dr. Campbell is an active member in his community. He is a past board member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber, Past Chair of the Sacramento Sports Commission, and was a long time member and Past President of East Sacramento Rotary. He is committed to improving our community’s dental needs by participating in programs such as Smiles for Kids and CDA Cares Mission of Mercy. As a founding member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry he has been the team dentist for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings since 1985. Dr. Campbell is married, has two children and five grand-children. His hobbies include traveling with his wife, boating and spending time with his beloved three dachshunds.
