About Mark A. Obregon, DDS
In the twenty plus years since his graduation, Dr. Mark Obregon has had extensive experience in restorative and cosmetic procedures as well as surgical (extractions) and endodontic therapy. Through constant continuing education, he has expanded his procedures to include the restoration of implants as well as the newest technologies such as Lumineers, conventional porcelain veneers and Zirconia and Lithium Disilicate (all white/ porcelain) crowns. Although Dr. Obregon enjoys practicing the latest state of the art cosmetic dentistry, he still values oral health above all. For this reason, he continues to place equal emphasis on the early detection and prevention of decay, the early detection and treatment of periodontal disease and finally the early detection of oral cancer through examination and screening. Dr. Obregon stays current by attending numerous post-graduate courses yearly, far exceeding mandatory continuing education requirements set forth by the American Dental Association. Dr. Obregon is currently working on his fellowship with The Academy of General Dentistry and is also a past president of the Western component of The Detroit District Dental Society. He also maintains a membership in the Michigan Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association. In his off time, Dr. Obregon still enjoys biking, tennis and golf in the summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Dr. Obregon married his wife Kimberly in 2002 and has recently expanded his family with the arrival of his Son Ethan in late August of 2008 and his daughter Ava in January of 2010.
