About Marii Malagayo, DDS

Dr. Marii Malagayo grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas State University. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with a Distinction in Dental Education from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. She was then accepted into the highly competitive Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the UTHSCSA School of Dentistry, where she completed advanced procedures in sedation, surgical implant restoration, oral rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry and complex treatment planning. She is a member of several internationally recognized professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry where she is eligible for Fellowship. Dr. Malagayo is dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience. Compassionate and kind, she addresses each patient’s unique concern with treatment options that are individually tailored. Dr. Malagayo understands that dental anxiety can prevent patients from receiving the best care, so she has trained extensively to effectively communicate, educate, and offer options that create an environment where patients look forward to their dental treatment for years to come. When not in the dental office, Dr. Malagayo loves exploring the beautiful Texas Hill Country with her dog, Wally.
