About Marc G. Rothman, DMD
Marc Rothman, DMD, is a board-certified oral surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He provides exceptional care at Rothman and Kim Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which has two offices conveniently located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Dr. Rothman trained at some of the top institutes in the country. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and earned his dental degree from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, also in Philadelphia. He completed his postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Howard University Hospital and the District of Columbia General Hospital, both in Washington, DC. Dr. Rothman finished his training with an advanced fellowship in orthognathic surgery and TMJ. Dr. Rothman is highly respected among his peers. He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Board of Dental Anesthesia. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Osseointegration, the International College of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Outside of his practice, Dr. Rothman is passionate about expanding the boundaries of his field, having authored several notable publications, with a special focus on the management of patients with difficult dental implants. He’s also a recognized international lecturer and serves as the chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery and senior attending at the Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, where he teaches the next generation of oral surgeons. Dr. Rothman is also dedicated to dental and medical philanthropy, having recently served as the chairman of the US Alpha Omega Foundation, an organization that funds dental health, education, research, and care worldwide.
