About Luis A. Zapiach, MD
Dr. Luis A. Zapiach is double-board certified in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. He has trained in prestigious medical schools such as Emory University, often regarded as one of the top medical training institutions in the world. While at Emory, Dr. Zapiach trained under some of the most respected authorities in plastic surgery, including former presidents of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Zapiach is routinely sought out by other plastic surgeons for his skill and experience with a number of advanced aesthetic enhancement techniques, including natural breast augmentation, Phenol Croton Oil Peel, and mid-facelift surgery. Born in Cordoba, Argentina, Dr. Zapiach currently practices in the Paramus, New Jersey region at his Art Plastic Surgery facility. Dr. Zapiach specializes in a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures, placing patient safety and satisfaction above all else. Dr. Zapiach received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Comparative Literature from the University of Rutgers. He earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine with honors in Microbiology. Dr. Zapiach completed his general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, and completed a research fellowship concerning myofibroblast differentiation in the division of Vascular Surgery during his time there as well. He completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Emory, and additional training in Oculoplastic Surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery. Dr. Zapiach is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and has been published in a number of top medical journals. He has given presentations at a number of medical seminars and conferences regarding a wide variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures.
