About Louis B. Izower, DDS
Having lived much of his younger life in New York, Dr. Izower attended The Bronx High School of Science, and subsequently Emory University in Atlanta where he earned his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science Degree in the field of physical and organic chemistry. He returned to New York where he attended Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1982. He completed additional hospital training during that time and was invited to be a member of the teaching staff at Columbia where for over 20 years he was an assistant clinical professor and featured lecturer until he turned his attention strictly to his family and his patients. Dr. Izower along with numerous partners founded Paramus Dental Group in 1983, and left to established his private practice, Farview Family Dentistry in 1990. In practice well over 25 years Dr. Izower has been repeatedly selected as one of ""America's Top Dentists."" Dr. Izower has attained almost one thousand hours of continuing education in contemporary subjects such as cosmetic procedures, bleaching, veneers, laminates, and implants ... not to mention classic subjects in emergency care, oral surgery, crowns, bridges and dentures ... all this to stay on top of the most important changes affecting dentistry and to provide you with the latest and most proven dental therapies available. Dr. Izower has pursued numerous personal interests, and has been a avid skier and golfer. He's tried his hand at sailing, fishing, scuba diving and even flying planes, but feels there are some things a person should not do. He would love to be a world traveler, but is content to be a good dad to his four children and two stepchildren that now range from their late teens to their twenties, and to be a good doctor to his patients, the importance of these things is not lost on him. He is happily married to Gina, a high school english teacher.
