About Laura M. Schilling, MD
Dr. Schilling was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. After graduating summa cum laude from Bucknell University, she earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical School). During this time, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude. Following medical school, Dr. Schilling completed her internship at Lankenau Medical Center and dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Schilling has had the distinct privilege of completing an accredited cosmetic dermatologic surgery fellowship at Maryland Dermatology, Laser, Skin & Vein Institute under the guidance of Dr. Robert Weiss, a renowned leader in the field. Here, Dr. Schilling received extensive training on various cosmetic procedures including neuromodulators, soft-tissue fillers, energy-based devices, and more. Dr. Schilling is a board-certified dermatologist and has been published in multiple respected peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Schilling continues to have a strong interest in both general and cosmetic dermatology. She firmly believes in patient-centered care and prides herself in forming trusting and respectful relationships with her patients.
