About Kristy Fornetti, DDS
Dr. Kristy Fornetti graduated from South Lyon High School, South Lyon, MI in 1989. She went on to Michigan State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics in 1994. From there, she attended the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry tor 4 years, graduating in 1998 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.). After graduation, Dr. Kristy was employed for 2 years as an associate, in private practice in Lansing, MI. Her third year out of school was spent between suburban Detroit private practices, working with inner-city underprivileged children and volunteering with the Special Olympics Special Smiles program. She also served the country in the Army Reserves, instated as an officer in 2000. After getting married to a U of Michigan Dental Graduate as well, she and her husband Dr. Ted moved to the upper peninsula of Michigan, where her husband was raised, and she purchased a practice in Norway, MI. in 2001 off Main Street. She built a new office in Norway in 2003 and has been practicing there since then. Dr. Kristy has attended several continuing education courses including the reputable Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. She is also an accredited member of the Victors Study Club, the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association (MDA), and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). Dr. Kristy offers the highest quality of care in the area. Her specialty focus includes restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, dentures, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, cosmetic procedures, and pediatrics.
