About Kristi S. Glidewell, DDS
Dr. Glidewell is a native of Charlotte. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her dental training, Dr. Glidewell participated in extramural rotations at the Oral Surgery Department of UNC-Chapel Hill and the Navajo Indian Reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico. Dr. Glidewell is an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. She also belongs to the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, providing Oral Appliance Therapy for patients who snore or have sleep apnea. Dr. Glidewell is a current Invisalign Provider and attends numerous continuing education courses each year in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Glidewell participates in a number of programs to give back to her community. She has been a Donated Dental Services Volunteer since 2009. S Dr. Glidewell has proudly participated in the NC MOM (Missions of Mercy) clinic in Uptown Charlotte for the past decade which treats over 1,000 Charlotteans every year. Dr Glidewell partners with the Veterans Bridge Home, a Charlotte based non-profit organization that functions as a support system to help bridge the gap between veterans and their community. She provides dental work for veterans in need. Dr. Glidewell and her husband, Clay, have three children.
