About Katrina Borchert, Tattoo Specialist
Co-Owner of Black Hatchet Tattoo Co. Katrina has been in the tattoo industry with her husband, Ricky, since 2011 when Painted Soul Tattoos first opened its doors. After running her own tattoo shop and after hundreds of hours under the needle, she decided it was time to sit in the artist's chair. Microblading became her new obsession. After completing her training Janurary 2019 she spent the next 6 months apprenticing to perfect what she had learned. She enjoys combining her past experience in architecture with the artistry of tattooing to create perfectly structured and even brows. Once perfecting the eyebrow, Katrina decided it was time to accentuate the brow by becoming a certified Lash Extension artist as well. Lash extensions require a steady hand and micro focus by applying indivdual lashes onto each natrual lash. Lash extensions can be a beautiful way to express a playful side of yourself by adding color, glitter or an ombre color to your lashes. Katrina really enjoys adding these pops of color and hopes it makes every client feel a little more bad ass than when they walked in! There is nothing more satisfying than taking a woman from feeling insecure about her face to feeling like a rock star with new brows & lashes that fit her face and won’t wash off! In her free time, Katrina enjoys spending time with her little ones, Landon & Arlow. Katrina has a secret obsession with the original My Little Pony series and collects ponies from the 80's & early 90's. Anything involving glitter, unicorns & mermaids will make her smile. She also enjoys competing in tattoo model contests at conventions around the country! She won 1st place at the 2019 Hell City Hotties contest in Columbus, Ohio and will be featured in an upcoming feature in INKED GIRLS MAG!
