About Kathleen C. Ban, DDS
Serving the South Bay Area, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Campbell, San Jose and as well as the surrounding areas such as Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz, Mountain View, Redwood City and San Ramon for more than 21 years, Dr. Ban continues to strive for excellence in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implants and pediatric care every day. She attends continuing education courses weekly, works with other excellent specialties in the profession, learns about new technology and products to provide the best comprehensive dental care possible. Dr. Ban strongly believes in the preservation of natural dentition and she practices evidence-based dentistry using cutting edge techniques, updated equipment and the best materials to deliver optimum dental treatment to all ages. One can tell that Dr. Ban is passionate about dentistry as soon as one meets with her. She has a special skill in putting children as well as patients with dental phobia at ease. Dr. Ban says that she practices dentistry with her heart and it shows. Dr. Ban is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara County Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ban is an active part of study groups at Spear, PIAD, ITI, Joy Luck and South Bay dental. Dr. Ban is dedicated to her community, she regularly goes to local schools to educate young children on oral hygiene. She also mentors the young generation who are interested in dentistry by having them shadow at her practice. Currently she has 6 patients who are in dental school following her footsteps to be a dentist. Dr. Ban also gives back to her community by donating to local schools, hospitals and especially St. Jude’s Hospital. Besides dentistry, Dr. Ban enjoys reading, traveling, writing, singing, and playing the piano.
