About Joseph Matievich, DDS
Dr. Joseph Matievich graduated from The University of Detroit in 1988 and has been practicing family dentistry in Metro Detroit ever since. His dental practice name “Family Smiles Dental Care” reflects his passion for general family dentistry. During all these years, he has gained great experience and proficiency in all areas of dental care. Dr. Matievich updates his skills through continuing education and hands-on seminars involving cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, pain control techniques, root canal procedures, implants and other areas of dentistry. He has always made it a point to keep up with the latest advances in Dentistry so that he is better able to serve his patients. His desire is to care for his patients’ complete dental needs by minimizing any need to see other specialists. In this way, his patients remain in a familiar and trusting environment and are more likely to obtain the care they require. By developing a trusting relationship with patients, Dr. Matievich is able to achieve his highest professional goal: to help each and every patient succeed in having healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime.
