About Joseph F. Kantner, DMD
A Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Joseph F. Kantner has been practicing dentistry since 1987. Dr. Kantner holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton. He graduated from The University of Scranton in 1983, Magna Cum Laude, and earned the Excellence in Biochemistry award. He was inducted into the Phi Lambda Upsilon Chemistry National Honor Society. Dr. Kantner holds a DMD degree from Temple University School of Dental Medicine (1987). Upon graduating from Temple University Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Allentown Hospital/Lehigh Valley Hospital Center (1988). Dr. Kantner was granted a Fellowship by the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996, after completing 500 hours of continuing education and passing a multidisciplinary examination in general dentistry. His achievements have been recognized with many prestigious awards. Most recently, he has received the Main Line Top Dentists (2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014), and Delaware County Daily Times – Top Dentist Reader’s Choice award 2014. Professional affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Delaware, Chester County Dental Society.
