About Joel D. Drexel, DDS
Dr. Joel Drexel is a native of Los Gatos. His family moved to the town when he was a little boy. He moved away to Los Angeles to attend and receive a degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry for his dental doctoral degree. He returned back to the University of California, Los Angeles to receive further education for the treatment of sleep apnea. Dr. Joel Drexel limits his practice to the treatment of apnea sleep disorders with intraoral apnea appliances. He has pursued a great amount of postdoctoral studies to integrate this dental treatment to a medical condition. He and his wife, Dr. Farnoush Drexel and their two small children reside in Los Gatos.
