About Jeremy Sant, DDS
Dr. Sant grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest near Seattle, Washington. He attended Brigham Young University – Idaho to complete his undergraduate studies in exercise science with a minor in chemistry. He attended the University of Buffalo to complete his dental training, graduating with a DDS degree. His desire to expand his training and skill level led him to Phoenix, Arizona to attend an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program located at the St. Vincent de Paul dental clinic. This clinic was recognized by Henry Schein, a leading dental supplier in the United States, as the “best charity clinic in the country” for their outstanding efforts to serve the homeless and working poor with comprehensive dental care. This vigorous program expanded his skillset to provide extensive care beyond basic dental procedures, in all divisions of dentistry, especially surgery and implant treatment. Dr. Sant describes his residency experience as “one of the best investments I’ve made in my career since I was able to help those of significant need while broadening my ability to provide extensive dental care to the community in the future”. Dr. Sant has a passion for implant dentistry. He has invested many hours in research and continuing education to utilize the very best techniques for ideal implant placement. He has completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry “Maxi Course”, an intense program with leading researchers and implant specialists from across the world. Dr. Sant has placed many implants during his time in residency and private practice. As a result of his implant efforts, Dr. Sant has been asked to teach implant placement, bone grafting and surgical techniques to resident dentists at the St. Vincent de Paul residency program. He helps oversee dental residents multiple times a month to instruct, assist with planning and completion of implant dentistry for low income and homeless patients. Furthermore, he was invited to oversee and teach implant placement as a clinical instructor for an implant seminar with a leading implant distributor. He provided lecture instruction and clinical assistance to dentists with limited or no implant experience, as part of a hands-on course. Dr. Sant has a strong passion and desire to create an exceptional experience for patients and loves to serve the community through dentistry. Dr. Sant is a member of the following dental organizations: American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry and the Arizona Dental Association. One of his favorite dental experiences has been providing dental exams for the Chicago Cubs during spring training in Mesa, AZ.
