About Jamie F. Altman, MD
Dr. Altman completed his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan, a top dermatology program in the country. With a special interest in skin cancer treatment, Dr. Altman also completed a fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Dr. Altman is board-certified in dermatology and prides himself in continuing education and staying on the cutting edge. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dematologic Surgery, and several other medical societies. He is Chief of the Subdivision of Dermatology at Riddle Memorial Hospital and was previously a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Altman completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Magna cum laude. He then obtained his medical degree from Temple University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Altman has authored numerous articles published in premier medical journals. He has been an investigator for numerous clinical trials and was awarded the Ralph Coskey research award as a resident. Dr. Altman has received specialized training in several areas of cosmetic dermatology. He prides himself in being able to offer exceptional skill in many cosmetic procedures while maintaining his medical and surgical foundation. Dr. Altman's philosophy of treating each patient with individualized care is unwavering. This holds true for all of his cosmetic, surgical, and medical patients.
