About James Mead, DMD
Dr. Mead has been providing outstanding dental care since 1984. He received his education from Princeton University, UCLA (Bachelor of Science and Masters of Public Health) and Washington University (Doctor of Medical Dentistry). To stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Mead maintains active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Western Los Angeles Dental Society and the American-Italian Dental Society.Dr. Mead was Editor in Chief of the Dental publication Westviews from 1992 to 1994 and served on the Board of Trustees of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society during that same time. Dr. Mead also served on the Member Peer Review Board from 1994 until 2001. Dr. Mead volunteers his time with Venice Family Clinic’s Homeless-not-Toothless program that provides much-needed dental care services to those who do not have the means to visit the dentist. Outside the office, Dr. Mead enjoys skiing, scuba diving, volleyball and traveling. He is married and has three children.
