About James R. Jorgensen, DDS
Born and raised in Phoenix, Dr. J earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, and is a 1984 graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Spear Education Continuum that is a prestigious alliance of leading edge dentists throughout the United States and Canada who are strongly committed to promoting oral health. Dr. J retired from the Richard V. Tucker cast gold study group that is an organization designed to foster excellence in restorative dentistry through a relatively uncompromising format in postgraduate education. Dr. Jorgensen served as the Central Arizona Dental Society President in 2004 – 2005 after 6 years as a board member. He is a past chairperson for the CADS’s Peer Review Committee. Dr. J was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists in 2004 and as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists in 2005. Dr. J has a been a previous dentist volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic and every February, he participates in the Give Kids a Smile campaign sponsored by the American Dental Association.
