About James Block, DDS
Dr. Block was born right here in Fremont, CA, and as a third-generation dentist, he has been proud to follow in his grandfather and father’s footsteps by providing quality, compassionate dental care to the area. He first attended San Jose State University before going on to achieve his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California dental school, where he served as a member of the dental school faculty for two years after graduation. He then returned to his hometown in 1990 to start his practice. Today, he is a member of the American Dental Association and the State of California Dental Association. He loves listening to patients and being able to create a true blend of art and technology when it comes to their care. Seeing his patients happy and smiling is what it’s all about for him. Dr. Block has a phenomenal wife and four great kids. When he isn’t busy taking care of smiles, he enjoys trail running, hiking, rock climbing in Yosemite and all over the Southwestern States, reading, and watching movies.
