About Ira Mims, DDS
Dr. Ira Mims was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He joined the military after graduating high school where he first became interested in Dentistry. Prior to dental school Dr. Mims earned his Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2002. Dr. Mims has established himself as part of tradition of excellent care. He strives to bring his patients only the best that dentistry has to offer. Dr. Mims went on to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2013. In addition to receiving an award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry, he has also taken multiple elective classes in sedation dentistry, orthodontics, molar endodontics, and implants. This, along with his continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, has made him an extremely versatile dentist who is available to meet his patients’ vast variety of needs.
