About Hera Z. Blazer, DDS
Having been raised by a woman pioneer in the dental field, it seems that dentistry has always been apart of Dr. Blazer's life. Her first college summer job was being a dental assistant in her Mom's office. That was the beginning of a love affair with dentistry that continues to this day. Dr. Blazer graduated from UCLA with a BA in Bacteriology and recieved her DDS from Northwestern University in 1981. Her 32 years of experience is the foundation upon which she continues to build upon - educating herself and implementing those technological advancements in her office. She has surrounded herself with a committed staff who share the same feeling about dentistry. Dr. Blazer has raised three children - learning the fine art of balancing work and family-while contributing to her community. In her free time she enjoys cooking, hiking, camping and yoga. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Contra Costa County Dental Association and several Women Dental organizations.
